Who We Are
Mission Exposure & Training (MET) is a Christian missions training center dedicated to transforming local churches into mission-driven, globally engaged congregations.
We do this by exposing, equipping, and empowering church leaders and missionary candidates to participate effectively in cross-cultural and global missions.
We exist to help the Church rediscover God’s heart for the nations and to align every believer, every church, and every leader with God’s Kingdom purpose for the whole world.

Why MET Exists
From the beginning, God has desired that His glory be known among all nations.
“Declare His glory among the nations, His marvelous works among all peoples.”
(Psalm 96:3)
Jesus did not give the Great Commission to missionaries alone — He gave it to the Church.
The local church is not meant to be inward-focused, but Kingdom-oriented and globally engaged.
In Acts 13, the church in Antioch—while active in local ministry—heard the Holy Spirit and sent Paul and Barnabas into the mission field. Those missionaries did not replace the church; they became an extension of it.
This is the model MET seeks to restore: local churches that send, support, pray for,and partner in global missions.
Africa and the Great Commission
Africa is no longer only a mission field — Africa is now a mission force.
The Church in Africa is growing rapidly, yet billions of people in the world still have little or no access to the Gospel. MET exists to help African churches move from receiving missions to sending missionaries.
We believe Africa has a God-given role to play in finishing the Great Commission — not by wealth or power, but by obedience, faith, and sacrifice.
What MET Does

Over the years, nearly 2,000 church leaders and missionaries have been trained through MET. These graduates now serve across Africa and around the world, mobilizing churches and reaching unreached people groups.
Our Story
MET was founded by Dr. Don Barron, a visionary who saw the need for Africa to become an active sender of missionaries. What began as a bold faith vision has become a continent-wide movement of training, mobilization, and global engagement.
MET is now stewarded through Africa Missions, under the leadership of Pastor Ron Kinnear, one of the founding leaders of MET. The ministry continues in the strong missions heritage established by Canadian Pentecostal missionaries, now carried forward by African and global leaders working together.
Leadership of MET
Pastor Jean Beya is the French MET Director and the Director of the African Advanced Church Leadership Training Program at MET. Appointed in 2003 together with his wife, Vevelyne, to start the French program at MET, they have led the transformation of French MET into a strategic, dynamic, and culturally relevant missions training ministry that perfectly serve the French-speaking world.
As a holder of a Master’s degree in Christian Leadership and trained by Mckinsey as « Agent of Change for Mining company, Pastor Beya is also the architect of a comprehensive society transforming leadership development program at MET called » African Advanced Church Leadership (AACL), that equips church leaders, Christian professionals, and missionaries to bring spiritual and social transformation to their communities and nations.
Since 2005, Pastor Beya is also coordinating Missionsfests in Africa, which has become a central platform for missionary candidates recruitment and mobilization. Through a strong network of graduates, he also oversees and organize numerous short term mission initiatives across Africa. His life and ministry are marked by a deep commitment to global missions, reflected in his regular travels throughout the continent to train and mobilize leaders.

Pastor Lambert and Jeanine oversee administration and daily operations at MET. Graduates of MET themselves, they are not ashamed to testify about their personal transformation through this program and serve now with dedication and excellence. Pastor Lambert’s background as an electrical engineer and his management experience from the big mining industry in the DRC bring strong organizational leadership to MET. The quality of their admnistrative work speaks aloud.
Pastor Ron & Rina Kinnear
Pastor Ron, one of the founding leaders of MET, serves as CEO under Africa Missions, continuing the legacy of Canadian Pentecostal missions by supporting training and outreach across Africa and beyond.
They are very passionate and committed to global missions and provide through their huge and deep experience in global missions and leadership, the father-figure kind of leadership to the stability and the long term sustainability the all organization.
